Hi,
I'm having a connection issue connecting to the above printer from a MacBook Pro with the latest 10.5 PPD as downloaded from Ricoh's website.
The printer is set up with a fixed IP address. I can set up the printer for IP printing no problem on the Mac, it must be communicating with printer in some way as it picks up the right printer model and selects the correct driver.
However when I try to print anything the printing dialogue box appears and says 'Connected to printer' but it never prints anything. There are no errors logged on the printer and there are no records of a print attempt from the Mac.
The same thing happens on another Mac with the same OS.
Are there known issues with this printer / OS version combination?
