What do you mean by typing 2x for the r290 ?? becasuse i've downloaded the ssc program and the latest version (4.3) doesn't support the r290 printer.... please explain a little bit more,... thanks a lot !!

OK everyone i got it ! but for some reason when it starts no button seems to work exept for the quit button. I've a epson r290 with the CISS installed. I also try on another r290 with original epson cartriges and the same thing happens, and after a couple of tries it stopped working at all (an error message appears and you can't start the program).
SO, everyone who wants it write me an e-mail and I'll send it to you BUT I need aswell as everyone else some feedback on how it worked for you SO PLEASE if I give you the program write here some feedback on your experience with it so we can figure out how to actually make it work. If I don't start seeing feedback here I'll stop giving it to anyone. I mean it. Another thing, please no messenger, I'll only reply to e-mails.

UNRAR THE ARCHIVE TO TAKE ON A FOLDER BY NAME "R290" ON THE DISK C: (C: \ R290) AND THEN FOLLOW THE NEXT STEPS:
First-first and foremost we need to verify that do not exist on the disk C: folder (C: \ Adjustment Program \) And the entry registration: (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ EPSON \ PTSG \). You can remove them manually or by running the executable file LIMPIAR.BAT MS-DOS.
Second, we modify the date of the operating system: (DAY: (1)-MONTH: (4)-YEAR: (2008) 01-04-2008. If you run the file LIMPIAR.BAT only verify that changes in the date has been made.
- Third. Ready! Run the application and select the button "PERSONAL ADJUSTMENT" and select the option you want to change, the most common case, RESETER INK PAD WASTED!

after downloading the software and followed every instructions, why do i get the ERROR MESSAGE "THIS PROGRAM CANNOT BE USED!" and nothing happens to my printer, still the same blinking error and service required message that parts inside the printer are at the end of service life...
PLEASE ADVISE... ANYONE???

the problem is before i used the adjust program posted here i had the sscserve installed and maybe it made some conflicts... whether i uninstall the sscserve it does the same thing so here's what i did... i run the system restore to the date before i installed the sscserve and then used the adjust program posted here and it worked!!!

hi people! i have a proplem with my epson r230 named "paper jam" i already check the load of paper but nothing that could may called a paper jam.. you have some remedy of this? i read at some site they said the sensor something in printer head.. if you already incounter or fixed such problem can you picture it out.. thankzz..
